High Energy, Low Impact Aerobics Classes, and Personal Training, too
Overview: I am available to work with a very limited number of clients on a one on one basis as a fitness advisor/personal trainer. Sessions may be held in a number of locations including your home and World Gym, located at 16th and DeHaro in San Francisco. My goal as a trainer is to work with you to develop and maintain a program of fitness that is right for you. Before the first session we will talk about your exercise history and what your current fitness goals are. We will also talk about your current health status so we can determine if there are any risk factors we should address prior to undertaking training. It may be necessary for you to obtain clearance from your physician before training with me for the first time. My recommendations generally include aerobic activity and weight training. It doesn't matter what your fitness level is once you begin working with me, or what physical limitations you may have right now. There is a program right for everyone, and nothing you do should cause pain or great discomfort. I don't believe in "no pain, no gain" because it is quite possible to greatly improve one's physical condition in a way that is actually pleasurable. There's nothing quite comparable to the feeling of getting stronger and more fit. I can guarantee confidence and feelings of well being will go right along with that. What to expect: Once you begin working with me as a regular client, here are some of the benefits you can expect:
My qualifications: I have my personal trainer certification through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and am insured. I have taken continuing education courses in eating disorders the mind/body connection as it relates to fitness. I have been working with clients of all fitness levels in the last two years to help them work toward their fitness goals, and generally improve quality of life. What it costs: You may pay for a single session at a time, or you may purchase five sessions at once. Cost for a single session is $75/hour. Multiple session packages are available, ask me about them. I do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If a client cancels an appointment for any reason after 24 hours before a session is scheduled to begin, payment for the session is still owed in full. If I for any reason cancel an agreed upon session past the 24 hour mark, I owe the client a session at no charge. Cancellations must be made either by e-mail or a call to my cell phone.
